membership - you commit
You commit to:
• Nurture a personal relationship with God through Bible study and prayer
• Be hungry to grow in God and not be a passive spectator
• Pray for our church
• Maintain a loving attitude toward others
• Refuse to harbor bitterness and take the first step toward reconciliation
• Make friends and welcome newcomers
• Seek an area of service to someone (in or outside of the congregation)
• Attend services and a smaller gathering (e.g. MiniChurch, LTG, ministry team, fellowship activities, etc.) where you can be involved in ministry to others and build friendships
• Tithe to God
• Seek to be morally pure
• Be personally open and supportive of the gifts and workings of the Holy Spirit
• Actively participate in congregational matters (such as: congregational meetings, dedication of children, intercession for missionaries, weddings & funerals, etc.)
